Who they are: With over 30 years of evolution, Western Mountaineering provides the finest and most complete line of sleeping bags and down garments for all possible uses.  Their sleeping bags are made in the U.S.A. so that they can maintain commitment to quality and detail. They sell their products in the highest quality specialty shops so that qualified staff can help you choose the bag best suited for your use.

What they needed: Western Mountaineering had an outdated site that needed a complete redesign.  They also needed a simple way to maintain the site, the ability to securely post forms and high resolution images to dealers and an online dealer tool that searches their dealers by zip code nationwide and by country internationally.

What they got: Using a blend of earth tones and mountain images, I created a site that lists all Western Mountaineering's products in an intuitive and simple format.  Users can quickly find information on products and thus find the sleeping bag that will best fit their needs.  I also created a dealers only section accessed by a password that Western Mountaineering staff give their dealers.  To search dealers I created a dealer locator tool that quickly displays for the dealers nearest to the zip code you key in.  Finally I included my popular Content Management System so Western Mountaineering staff can quickly make changes while I'm out in the mountains!
